Quiznos brings back Black Angus sub

Quiznos has re-launched its Black Angus on Rosemary Parmesan Sub in stores nationwide today. The limited-time offer includes thick slices of premium Black Angus steak, melted mozzarella and aged cheddar cheese, sautéed mushrooms and onions and toasted rosemary parmesan bread.

The sub will also include two sauces – honey bourbon mustard, which provides a tangy brown mustard kick, and zesty grille sauce, which balances out the honey bourbon mustard with some heat from Habanero Chile peppers.

"The bold flavors of this sub -- from the two melted cheeses and the honey bourbon mustard sauce to our fresh baked rosemary parmesan bread and thick cut Black Angus slices, made this sub just as fun to create as it is to eat," said Zach Calkins, Quiznos SVP, Culinary Innovation.

Participating locations will offer the Black Angus on Rosemary Parmesan Sub for $5.19 for a small size, $6.49 for a regular and $7.99 for a large. A small sub includes 520 calories and 38 grams of protein.

Quiznos featured a Black Angus sandwich for a limited time five years ago. Requests have been pouring in via Facebook for its return, which prompted Quiznos to launch an updated version of the classic.

Quiznos is so confident the Black Angus on Rosemary Parmesan Sub is the best steak sub, customers who disagree will be reimbursed with a $10 Quiznos gift card.
