Quiznos hosts Colorado Fire Relief Day

Denver-based Quiznos has designated today as Quiznos Colorado Fire Relief Day. Fifty percent of all sales netted today at participating locations in Colorado will go toward local wildfire relief efforts.

A comprehensive donation will be made on behalf of the corporate office and franchise owners. There is no cost for franchise owners to participate.

"As a Colorado-based business, we feel it is our responsibility to support our community during this time of crisis," the company said in a statement.

Also, recently, Quiznos donated gift cards to the American Red Cross for distribution to fire victims and rescue workers. More than 40 Quiznos locations are expected to participate in today's fundraiser.

Quiznos is one of many Colorado-based restaurant chains that have donated food, time and money toward wildfire relief.
