Rally's undergoing restaurant reimaging

July 5, 2012

Tampa, Fla.-based Rally's Restaurants is in the middle of a remodeling effort, unveiling its new design in select markets throughout the country.

In Cleveland, for example, the Rally's reimage was unveiled June 30, according to the Cleveland Heights Patch. The company's objective with the new design is to appeal to a broader customer base.

The new look includes stainless steel accents over both drive-thru lanes, a black and white checkered theme and red décor. Kitchen equipment also has been upgraded for more efficiency.

CEO Rick Silva said the reimage is "an evolution of the brand" that will attract new guests and excite loyal guests.

"We've chosen to introduce our reimaged restaurant in Cleveland because it's one of our fastest and strongest growing markets over the past five years," Silva said. "We believe that inviting many of our long-term guests to see our new look will generate a great deal of excitement around our brand."

According to the Cincinnati Business Courier, Rally's also unveiled a reimaged restaurant in that market.

The Avondale, Ohio, unit was chosen for the remodel because of its strong performance last year, when sales were up 15 percent. Rally's is targeting Cincinnati for more than 20 new restaurants in the next few years.
