Ravens QB Joe Flacco goes to work at Dairy Queen

Super Bowl MVP and Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Joe Flacco will help service customers today in Rosedale, Md., from 1 to 2 p.m.

Flacco will greet guests behind the counter of the Dairy Queen restaurant at the Golden Ring Mall Shopping Center and will learn how to create the signature curl on a DQ sundae.

Additionally, Flacco and American Dairy Queen Corp. will present a check for $25,000 to the Matthew J. Cheswick Memorial Fund. Cheswick, a student at Glenelg High School in Maryland, was killed by a drunk driver. The Cheswick family, who hopes to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving, will honor their late son by administering scholarships to students who embody Matthew's spirit, according to a news release.
