Research & Markets adds Carl's Jr. benchmark analysis

Research and Markets has announced the addition of Restaurant Research LLC's new report "Carl's Jr. Concept Benchmark Analysis" to their offerings.
The analysis of the Carl's Jr. restaurant concept provides readers with data and insight into thislarge, regional chain on the West Coast that has carved out a brand targeting young, hungry males with its over-the-top indulgent burgers. The chain has done well targeting its audience using seductive advertising to feature its premium burgers. But Carl's Jr.'s sales declines over the last year suggest that the brand has some tweaking to do to fit in to the new normal, including competing with McDonald's new Angus Third Pounder and heightened price competition among quick-service and casual dining restaurants. The authors believe the chain has ample brand equity to weather the transition once management commits to pursuing the necessary tweaks.
