Rita’s Italian Ice plans spring giveaway

Rita’s Italian Ice is preparing for its 19th annual First Day of Spring Free Ice Giveaway. In celebration of the season change, Rita’s will offer customers a free regular-size (10-ounce) cup of Italian Ice in the available flavor of their choice from 12-9 p.m. March 20.

The promotion will take place at more than 550 Rita’s Italian Ice locations across the country. The company expects to give away 1.4 million cups of Italian Ice.

"To mark the start of warm weather and cool treats, Rita's is proud to once again offer a free Italian Ice to those looking to ring in spring with a taste of happiness," said Jim Rudolph, Rita’s chairman of the board and CEO.
