Western-themed QSR, Roy Rogers Restaurants, has inked a partnership deal with Singer EVI to provide equipment fulfillment and kitchen design support for Maryland-based brand's current and future QSR locations.

As listeners of this recent QSRweb podcast learned, the brand is primed to mount what it calls "an aggressive expansion campaign," and this partnership is part of those plans as the brand rolls out kitchen and storage upgrades next year, according to a news release.

In its 51st year of operation, the company has been focusing on investments to strengthen operations, infrastructure and consumer and franchise offerings before expansion begins in earnest. Recently, the company said it has added a handful of seasoned restaurant and marketing executives, as well as adding and improving menu items, delivery partnerships, site selection and food distribution specifics and marketing, including a new restaurant design.

In 2020, Roy Rogers will kick off its expansion initiative as it upgrades kitchen and storage facilities systemwide with the help of Singer EVI.

"Singer EVI has nearly 30 years of commercial foodservice experience and an extensive nationwide client list including quick-service and full-service restaurants," Roy Rogers Executive Vice President Jeremy Biser said in the release. "The company has well-established relationships with manufacturers to ensure that we can readily obtain the best equipment at the best price. Our new alliance will help us reduce initial and ongoing costs and optimize our equipment package, while also providing top notch service to our existing and new franchisees."

Roy Rogers currently has 48 stores in six states, half of them franchised.
