Roy Rogers 'saddles up' with DoorDash in Maryland, Virginia

Roy Rogers has partnered exclusively with third-party delivery provider, DoorDash, to deliver the chain's offerings to customers near its Maryland and Virginia locations, with word that more locations will be added "soon," according to a news release. 

To kick off the new home or office delivery option, the brand will give the first 2,000 DoorDash delivery orders of at least $5 free three-piece chicken tenders meal when they use a the RRDELIVERY code now through July 14. In fact, the chicken tenders is a new menu item, which the brand said is upgraded from its previous offerings to feature larger pieces of fresh chicken in everything from three-piece servings to 100-piece orders for catering. 

"We continue to invest in strategies to get the great taste and high quality of Roy Rogers food into the hands of Royalists and newcomers alike," Roy Rogers Executive Vice President Jeremy Biser, said in the release. "We recently updated our restaurant design to attract more people to dine in or drive-thru. Partnering with DoorDash is a great complement to that strategy, giving our fans the option to have the food come to them."
