School’s Out for Sliders? Alice Cooper now a White Castle hall of famer

July 9, 2014

White Castle has inducted “shock rocker” Alice Cooper into its Cravers Hall of Fame. Cooper’s 2014 All Bad Things tour recently stopped in White Castle’s hometown of Columbus, Ohio, where his induction took place.

"When we heard about Cooper's life-long love of our hot and tasty sandwiches, we knew he had to be a part of the Cravers Hall of Fame," VP Jamie Richardson said in a news release. "He is a legend in the rock 'n' roll world, and now he is a legend at White Castle."

Cooper and his band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.

The brand’s 14th annual Cravers Hall of Fame Contest is also underway, where fans can submit stories about their relationship with White Castle for a chance to enter the hall.  Stories are evaluated for originality, duration and extent of the "Crave." Fans have until July 31 to submit their entries.
