SelbySoft certifies Elo to streamline POS experience for coffee, pizza retailers

Elo, a supplier of touchscreen solutions, announced SelbySoft Inc., a supplier of café point-of-sale systems, has certified three of Elo's solutions for use with SelbySoft's SP-1 POS software.

Elo, a supplier of touchscreen solutions, announced SelbySoft Inc, a supplier of café point-of-sale systems, has certified three of Elo's solutions for use with SelbySoft's SP-1 POS software, according to a company press release. This certification enables SelbySoft to offer a customizable platform of software and hardware solutions built on Elo's portfolio of POS hardware for restaurant and retail customers.

SelbySoft's SP-1 POS software is customized to fit the niche requirements of two primary retail markets: coffee and pizza. SP-1 is specifically tailored to suit coffee retailers with built-in customer engagement and loyalty programs. SP-1 for Coffee was the official POS software powering America's Best Coffeehouse competitions in 2015, while SP-1 for Pizza & Restaurants includes tools for delivery management and order tracking.

Elo solutions, certified by SelbySoft, include the X-Series, E-Series and PayPoint all-in-one POS terminals. Elo said its X-Series is known for its configuration options that meet the needs of a wide variety of retailers. Elo's E-Series is designed to offer commercial reliability with a small footprint while maintaining affordability. In addition, Elo's new PayPoint platform delivers integrated functionality retailers demand, including a built-in, flip-to-sign touchscreen, barcode reader, cash drawer, receipt printer and customer-facing display. SelbySoft certified the PayPoint devices for Windows operating systems.
