McDonald's restaurants in South Florida are beefing up their speed of service efforts. According to the Miami Herald, from now through Aug. 29, drive-thru customers at participating restaurants are guaranteed to get their lunch orders handed to them within 60 seconds.
Customers will receive timers when they pay, which will then be returned to the employee when they get their food. If the customer doesn’t receive their meal within 60 seconds, they'll get it for free.
The promotion runs from noon to 1 p.m.
