It's National Cookie Day this Tuesday, Dec. 4, for all those who failed to note the "Hallmark holiday" on their calendars. For this year's holiday during the holidays, Subway has mint-ified its chocolate chip cookies as a special LTO that is brimming with mint and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
At the same time, the QSR is introducing a new month-long promotion that gives customers the chance to send their friends and loved ones a Subway cookie with an eGift card from the chain through Dec. 31. The eGift cards come in $1 increments for single cookies, as well as $2 for three cookies or $8 for a dozen.
The promotion allows the chain to help customers fulfill all those last-minute gift obligations around the office and neighborhood, while guaranteeing the chain some residual and new customer visits.
EGift card recipients can redeem their gifts by either scanning the QR code on a mobile device or print-out in-restaurant or registering the card to pay for remote orders or through the chain's app.
