Subway renews partnership with Wounded Warrior Project

October 16, 2013

Subway announced it will continue its partnership with the non-profit organization Wounded Warrior Project, and will endorse a full range of programs and services for Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

As part of the initiative, the brand will showcase stories from soldiers who have overcome hurdles upon returning from war. The stories will appear on Subway's website and social media channels using the hashtag #SUBWAYSalutes. Additionally, Subway will make a financial contribution to WWP to help fund programs ranging from physical health and wellness to employment and family/peer support.

"Many members of the Subway family including countless franchisees, employees and loyal customers, have served our country," said Jeff Larson, VP of Global Marketing, Marketing Development and Activation. "Our partnership with Wounded Warrior Project is just one way we want to recognize their service and say thank you."
