BOSTON — Modiv Media Inc. has announced its customer Subway Buffalo of New York captured the silver medal in the New Media Optimization category at the seventh-annual 1to1 Impact Awards for its interactive mobile club, My Subway Mobile. Managed using the Modiv Mobile service, My Subway Mobile involves a series of mobile-delivered promotional offers. Held annually by 1to1 Media, the 1to1 Impact Awards spotlights leading companies that have implemented effective and innovative customer strategies resulting in clear and quantifiable business results, according to a news release. This year's New Media Optimization award recognizes excellence in the use of new media, including social networking, virtual worlds and mobile phones to support or enhance an organization's customer strategy.
Modiv Mobile influences brand shopping decisions by delivering relevant information and promotions to on-the-go shoppers' mobile phones. Modiv Media worked with Subway franchises in Buffalo and the Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust (SFAFT) to develop My Subway Mobile. After a year's time, the program has been expanded to more than 100 restaurants, offering a dozen promotional offers to more than 5,500 customers. The campaign's success has encouraged additional franchises to implement a similar program. Recently, more than 300 Subway stores in the Seattle-Tacoma area began offering My Subway Mobile to their customers.
