Survey: U.K. 'leading fast-food nation'

The Press Association:The United Kingdom is the world's leading fast-food nation, according to a survey conducted by BBC World and market research firm Synovate.The poll found 45 percent of U.K. respondents liked "the taste of fast food too much to give it up." Forty-four percent of U.S. respondents agreed with the statement.
