TA Restaurant Group opens 9th Arby's, dives deeper into nonproprietary brands

The TA Restaurant Group is building on its base of Arby's outlets at its TravelCenters, opening its ninth location of the chain. The 40-seat restaurant off Interstate 295 in Bordentown, New Jersey, will be open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, a press release said.

TA Restaurant Group is growing the restaurant offerings at its TravelCenters, Petro Stopping Centers and Minit Mart convenience stores. Currently, the group has more than 850 QSR, full-service and other food-related outlets in 43 U.S. states and Canada.

The company's 10 proprietary brands include Quaker Steak & Lube, Iron Skillet and Country Pride, all under the ownership of TravelCenters of America LLC. But the company's travel stops are increasingly including other QSR brands, such as Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Dunkin’ Donuts, which just opened locations in a TA Travel Center in Mobile, Alabama, early last month.
