Taco Bell gets 'testy' with 3 offerings

March 3, 2017

Taco Bell is testing a few menu innovations at chains in the Midwest, according to a news release.

The offerings include a melding of the cults of Doritos and quesalupas called the Doritos Quesalupa crunch. It features aDoritoss loco taco in a cheese-filled quesalupa shell with nacho cheese, seasoned beef, lettuce and cheddar.

This one will be judged by Cincinnati-area Taco Bell diners from now through April 8.

Flint, Michigan customers will test the chain's  Chicken Enchilada Burrito, a tortilla with seasoned rice, red or nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, three cheeses and two rolled chicken tacos. This test also runs through April 8.

And finally, the Caesar crunchwrap is also a new addition, although Taco Bell did not specify the market in its news release. It features a tortilla with  grilled chicken or steak, parmesan and corn crisps, romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, three cheeses and tomatoes.
