Last week it was Domino's beginning the world's first pizza wedding registry.
This week, Taco Bell is positioning itself for a little "love action" with its Las Vegas Cantina flagship site adding weddings to the menu by summer, according to a news release.
To kick things off, the chain is giving away Wedding Numero Uno at the cantina, along with all the bells and whistles to one couple and offering a fan contest, as well.
The weddings themselves are orderable right off the site's menu. For about $600, any little lovebirds who wish, can order up a Wedding Package onsite, including a full ceremony, officiant, Taco Bell garter, bow tie, sauce packet wedding bouquet, "Just Married" T-shirts, Taco Bell champagne flutes and a Cinnabon Delights wedding cake. In fact, the happy couple will even get a Taco 12-pack for their first meal as newlyweds.
"Through our new flagship restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, couples can come right in and order a wedding off of our menu," Taco Bell CMO Marisa Thalberg, said in a news release. "In a town known for pulling out all of the stops, we think this will be the most crave-able matrimonial experience to ever hit Vegas."
The chain has partnered with pop-up wedding and elopement provider (yes, that exists), Flora Pop, to put matrimony on the menu. Likewise, today the chain is kicking off this new venture with a contest and sweepstakes to establish all the players for the first cantina wedding.
From now through Feb. 26, couples can enter Taco Bell’s Love and Tacos Contest and Happily Ever Crashers Sweepstakes. Winners get an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas where they will be the first couple to tie the knot at the cantina.
Aside from free travel and Planet Hollywood accommodations, lucky lovebirds will get the wedding completely free of the tab. Entrants need only share a photo or 30-second video on Twitter or Instagram about their love story under the hashtag #LoveAndTacosContest. Winners will be officially named on March 16.
Fans can get in on the action by voting for their favorite couple. They will then be entered to win a seat at that first wedding, along with flights and spending money.
