Taco Bell tests Agua Refrescas

Taco Bell is testing a line of beverages in Southern California, aiming to make its drinks "just as iconic as our food," Taylor Montgomery, CMO, said in a press release.

Agua Refrescas are fruit-infused beverages with a green tea base for an energy boost. Flavors include Strawberry Passionfruit, Peach Mango, and Dragonfruit Berry. The drinks are mixed with real fruit pieces (freeze-dried) and contain artificial colors.

The test is underway for the next five weeks, or while supplies last, at a single location in Irvine, California. A 16-ounce cup costs $3.99 and is not available during Happier Hour.

This follows recent tests of Coffee Chillers and Churro Chillers in Southern California.
