Taco Bell's hiring parties have been a hit, as COO Mike Grams described in February, and are probably why the brand is hosting similar events at nearly 600 stores April 22-27.
The chain's hiring parties relax the traditional business code on the process of recruitment and hiring by opening the process up with free food, festivities and job applications, according to a company press release. Some applicants may even be interviewed and hired during the events.
Parties are set for 450 cities across 44 states, with a goal of hiring "thousands" of employees. The initiative contributes to Taco Bell's broader growth goals and commitment to creating 100,000 U.S. jobs by 2022. Those who attend also get the lowdown on Taco Bell's benefits and career growth opportunities, including tuition assistance, scholarships and leadership development programs.
