Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza sells out nationwide

Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza returned last month to much fanfare, but just as soon as sales began, the fan favorite is already selling out in some markets. A NBC4i report said it was unclear when the Mexican Pizza would be restocked.

The item was taken off of the menu when Taco Bell streamlined its menu in 2020 as the pandemic hit. Some 20 months after the menu item was removed, the brand began announcing the return with much fanfare.

Now, it's selling out nationwide, causing team members to post signs it has sold out and telling customers it's not available before they even order.

"We're working diligently with our restaurants and suppliers to get more (Mexican Pizzas) back in the hands and stomachs of our biggest fans," according to Taco Bell's website. The brand directed customers to follow its Mexican Pizza FAQ page for the latest details and information.

Taco Bell has also pushed back its Mexican Pizza musical, originally set to air on TikTok May 26. The musical stars Dolly Parton and Doja Cat. No date has been given for the musical to air.
