Taco Bueno gives free burritos this National Bean Day

Yes, there is a National Bean Day and yes, this Tuesday, Jan. 8, is it. So rent a copy of "Blazing Saddles" for its infamous bean-centric campfire scene and stop by Tex-Mex QSR Taco Bueno for free bean burritos with any purchase and let the "bea-no" dismay on this holiday. 

"We take our beans, as well as our other menu items, seriously," Taco Bueno CMO Jason Abelkop said in a news release about the celebratory offering. "Our teams use a 35-hour process to prepare the refried beans. This is all done in-house every day."

Prior to this Tuesday's big event, the brand pulled back the curtain on its scratch-made refried beans-making  process on its website. Today, customers can taste the results with the free burritos with purchase from open to close. 

The brand currently has more than 145 restaurants throughout the American South and Southwest — including Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
