Alaska Flounder Fish Tacos are back at Taco John's and this time they've got a new sauce and a limited-time offer of two for $7, according to a press release.
Taco John's uses the Alaska Seafood: Wild, Natural and Sustainable brand for its two for $7 Alaska Flounder Fish Tacos. The new Fiesta Sauce is a seasoned sour cream dip with jalapeños, onion, garlic, tomato and cilantro.
"With our new Fiesta Sauce — which pairs perfectly with our Alaska Flounder Fish Tacos — guests have a delicious menu option whether they're observing Lent or just have a craving for fish," Brad Bergaus, Taco John's corporate chef and director of menu innovation, said in the release.
The tacos are available from now through March 31.
"We're proud to partner with Taco John's as they feature premium wild-caught flounder in their fish tacos," Sarah Wallace, marketing coordinator at Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, said in the release. "The cold, glacier-fed waters of Alaska provide a healthy, natural habitat for millions of high-quality fish, famous for their delicious flavor and superior texture. Our state's thriving, wild Alaska flounder population is a testament to our healthy fish habitats and responsible fisheries management practices. Alaska is the only state with sustainability built into its constitution and each season, only as much fish are harvested as the environment can handle — ensuring high-quality seafood for generations to come."
Taco John's operates and franchises nearly 400 restaurants in 23 states.
