While a variety of QSR chains celebrate International Coffee Day by offering free java Sept. 29, Taco John's is getting an early start. The chain will give away free coffee to its guests on Sept. 25.
"The first cup is on us because we want everyone to try the distinctive, high-quality flavor of Boyer's, our new coffee partner," CEO Jeff Linville said in a news release. "We want to provide our guests with another reason to keep coming back."
Free coffee will be available during breakfast hours at participating locations on Sept. 25. Taco John's began offering Boyer's Coffee in recent months as a way to strengthen the morning daypart.
"Breakfast is the fastest-growing part of our business. Some Taco John's locations are experiencing almost 20-percent sales growth," Linville said. "We think offering Boyer's coffee is an important ingredient for even more growth."
