Taco John's names new marketing VP

June 23, 2017

Taco John's has named Tom Meyer its new vice president of marketing, overseeing everything from brand strategy and pricing to advertising and social media, a news release said.

Meyer has spent the past 10 years on the ad agency side as account director for KFC's largest co-op in Los Angeles. He also has co-op leadership experience with Papa John's, Mimi's Café and TGI Friday's. He was previously marketing director at Del Taco and started his career at the Carl's Jr.'s corporate office.

"It's a real thrill to join a brand that already has a large, almost cult-like, following of loyal customers," Meyer said in a news release. "I'm looking forward to working with our franchisees to build on that loyalty, developing the brand's story and connecting with new customers who haven't yet tried Taco John's."

Taco John's now has almost 400 QSRs in 23 states.
