Taco John’s is introducing two LTOs — one to start the fire and another to quench it. The new offerings, available until Nov. 27,according to a news release, include a chicken sopapilla taco, and the chain’s fourth premium beverage offering, a blood orange mist TWST.
The sopapilla, which the news release called the chain’s "the most original taco …ever offered," is filled with crunchy chicken, honey habanero sauce and pico de gallo. It tested especially popular with millennials, the company said.
"We’re excited to see how the chicken sopapilla taco performs now that it’s available across the country," said Taco John’s Vice President for Menu Strategy and Innovation Bob Karisny, in the news release.
The Blood Orange Mist TWST will also be on the menu until Nov. 27 and comes in a specially designed cup that’s part of the brand’s "Trick or Eat" promotion from Oct.17 to 31.
Guests who order the LTO taco and drink or a chicken-and-gravy breakfast burrito will also get a scratch-off card and a chance to win one of three menu items. Guests will also get a chance at a scratch-and-win ticket for the chain with the TJ Rewards app.
