Thai Express lands 1st US location in mega mall

Thai Express has landed in the U.S., with its first location in the the sprawling Hall of America food court in Bloomington, Minnesota, a news release said. 

Despite its name, the Thai cuisine QSR is a Canadian-based concept now owned by multi-QSR brand company, MTY Food Group Inc. 

"This is the first of many locations in the United States for Thaï Express," MTY Chairman and CEO Stanley Ma said in the release. "We are thrilled to bring the American consumer one of MTY's most successful Canadian brands. We plan to aggressively develop Thaï Express in the United States in the coming years; opening the first store is a great milestone in our development plan."
