The wrap has become quite a popular menu request as of late – offering essentially the same flavors and fillings as sandwiches, but providing a bit more convenience with its portability. McDonald’s, Wendy’s and A&W are just a few chains that have successfully rolled out wraps, and now Hardee’s has jumped on board.
Hardee’s new hand-breaded chicken tender wrapper is essentially the chain’s popular chicken tender item, which was introduced in June, wrapped in a 6-inch flour tortilla, along with shredded lettuce and cheese. It comes with a choice of buttermilk ranch, honey mustard or Sweet Baby Ray’s award-winning BBQ sauce.
“People love our new hand-breaded chicken tenders and have been asking us to do more with them,” said Brad Haley, executive vice president of marketing for Hardee’s Food Systems. “The new hand-breaded chicken tender wrappers were a logical next choice since they take that great taste our customers have come to crave and serve it up in more of a sandwich-like experience that’s perfect for a quick snack or meal.”
The wrappers are available for $1.49, in a small combo for $3.49, or as a two-wrap combo for $4.99. Prices vary by location.
