Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop announced that it has reached an agreement to become an Official Corporate Partner of the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference (MAC), as well as the Official Coffee of the Miami University RedHawks, Central Michigan Chippewas and the Ohio University Bobcats.
The sponsorship with the MAC and three MAC member institutions was made possible through a partnership with IMG College, which manages the multi-media rights for the MAC and six MAC members.
Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's premium blend coffee and hot chocolate will be available at Miami, Central Michigan and Ohio football and basketball games as part of the agreement.
"It's great to be able to provide our guests with the quality beverages they enjoy at the concession stand," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S. "As we open new restaurants, we look forward to growing our partnerships with collegiate and professional athletic programs."
The sponsorship agreements with the MAC and the three universities will run through the 2016 season.

Smile Cookie Campaign raises record amount
In Canada, the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie fundraiser raised a record $4.2 million, with money going toward local charities across the country. Tim Hortons guests showed their support by purchasing the smiling chocolate chunk cookies for $1 between Sept. 17 and Sept. 23.
Charities benefiting from sales of the Smile Cookie include hospitals, shelters, clubs and various other community organizations.
The fundraiser began in 1996 in Hamilton, Ontario, as a way to raise money for the Hamilton Children's Hospital. Currently, Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners in Canada support more than 345 local charities through the annual campaign. In 2011, the campaign raised $4 million.
