A U.K. McDonald’s customer found an interesting twist to the self-order kiosks that the company may not have intended, according to Fox News.
The U.K. customer, who placed an order with the kiosk, ended up getting charged for an empty bag when he used the kiosk to remove all the ingredients from his cheeseburger. The customer tweeted about his innovative use of the self-order kiosk on Twitter. The post has been shared 64,000 times.
The customer, @arikuyo, originally intended to remove only the pickles from his burger when he realized he could remove every ingredient. He even posted his receipt from his bank showing the 99-pence charge.
As of press time, McDonald's had not responded to a request for comment.
