Using modern marketing tips to get the most from loyalty programs

Customer loyalty programs are at the forefront of the restaurant industry like never before. In the past, gathering email addresses to send promotions was a prime way to make use of a loyalty program. But modern marketing has changed that and creating transactions just to get customers to spend more money is old-school thinking.

Today the goal is to use modern marketing to gain the most from a loyalty program and that is the focus of an upcoming free webinar, "The Loyalty Iceberg: Creating Human Centered Experiences," sponsored by NCR Corp. and hosted by Fastcasual.com

The one-hour event, moderated by Mandy Detwiler, managing editor at Networld Media Group, will be held Thursday, April 21 at 2 p.m. EDT, will feature several presenters as well as a live Q&A session.

Presenters include Catherine Saab, product manager, consumer marketing at NCR, and Andy O'Dell, founder of Clutch, a customer data and marketing platform.

During the webinar attendees will learn how to identify and understand a customer base to remove friction and add value and how to create the kind of transactions that will result in true loyalty.
