Between its partnership with a popular navigation app and its spicy chicken sandwich LTO, Wendy's is pulling out all the stops to promote its 4 for $4 meal deals, according to a set of news releases about the promotions.

Travel and gas-purchasing economy app, GasBuddy, is pushing the promo, while Wendy's also has tapped into America's affair with hot and spicy chicken with the limited-quantity introduction of its Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich as one of the eligible offerings on the 4 for $4 special.

In fact, the Columbus-Ohio-based QSR is offering 44,444 free 4 for $ Meal Deals with any $10 purchase. The meals feature a Jr. order of fries, "value-size" drink, four chicken nuggets and a choice of either the brand Jr. Bacon cheeseburger, Jr. cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken sandwich or Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich for that $4 price tag.

"Now more than ever, customers need value and consistency in their on-the-go food choices. …" Jimmy Bennett, vice president of media and social at Wendy's, said in the release. "Having recently worked with GasBuddy on our national breakfast launch, we are pleased to continue our partnership with them to provide meaningful value to the driving audience."

Wendy's is the first brand to use GasBuddy's n Restaurant Details Pages, which includes premium display ads, video formats and custom call-to-action buttons that can direct customers to a brand's menu or ordering on the restaurant's website, downloading its app and even getting directions to a store.

Wendy's includes more than 6,800 restaurants worldwide.
