Wendy's and Uber partner to benefit kids in foster care

July 29, 2016

Wendy's is partnering with Uber to help kids in foster care find homes, according to a company press release. From now until the end of the promotion, Uber will give first-time riders who register with the code "4Adoption" a free ride (up to $15), while Wendy's will donate $5 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

"When it comes to the issue of adoption, Wendy's commitment doesn't stop at the doors of our restaurants," Liz Geraghty, Wendy's VP of marketing, said in the report. "With more than 100,000 children waiting to be adopted from foster care in the United States, this partnership gives people an easy way to make a difference in their community and beyond. We're proud to team up with Uber on this initiative."
