Wendy's dishes up revamped sandwich

Wendy's has a new chicken sandwich on its menus, according to a news release. The new grilled offering is a nutritional improvement on one of its former sandwiches, according to Wendy's leadership. 

"When we set out to recreate this sandwich, our goal was a better-for-you option that delivered an unbelievable taste," said Carl Loredo, VP of marketing and advertising at Wendy's. "We've added high-quality ingredients from top to bottom, including a new multi-grain bun that delivers a deliciously different grilled chicken sandwich."

The new sandwich is included on Wendy's everyday menu and for a limited time in a $5 combo meal.
