Wendy's names Grindmaster-Cecilware to Top 10 supplier list

Quality Supply Chain Co-op In.SM, the independent purchasing cooperative for restaurants owned by The Wendy's Company and its franchisees, recently honored Grindmaster-Cecilware Corporation as one of its top 10 suppliers and distributors, according to a company press release.

The Golden Link Award for Supply Chain Excellence is QSCC's highest honor for its supplier and distributor partners. Winners were chosen from more than 430 companies in three categories: food and beverages, building materials and equipment, and distribution.

"Grindmaster-Cecilware won a 2014 contract to supply 20,000 tea urns for Wendy's new tea program by providing very competitive pricing and by exceeding expectations for product design, production deadlines, quality assurance, and safety," said John Inwright, QSCC president. "They also provided exceptional support to QSCC and Wendy's before, during, and after union labor issues impacted shipments to West Coast ports."
