In an intensified competition to attract on-the-go consumers at all times of the day, Wendy's has thrown its hat into the late-night space. According to Burger Business, the chain is now offering a $5 Moonlight Meal Deal, available after 10 p.m.
The promotion includes a Double Stack burger, chili cheese fries and a large drink.
Other chains have been actively wooing nocturnal customers as well. Taco Bell's Fourth Meal promotion began in 2007. More recently, Jack in the Box started testing an expanded late-night menu in some California markets.
McDonald's "Breakfast After Midnight" menu is also in test, as is its "McDonald's After Midnight" promotion.
