Whataburger has partnered with Russo Modular to build a 3,000-square-foot modular prototype for Whataburger's modular program. It will be the brand's first modular restaurant in Arizona, located in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert, according to a press release.
Russo Modular's advanced QSR modular program, combined with its 20 years of experience in custom manufacturing and fabrication, positions it as a frontrunner in the modular building industry.
"Our progressive approach allows all clients to benefit from our modular manufacturing program," Rusty Russo, owner of Russo Modular, said in the press release. "The ability to use the same modular design in multiple jurisdictions with higher production value allows QSR multi-unit developers to expedite their growth. The strength of modular construction is control," Russo emphasized. "Brands of all sizes interested in adding drive-thrus to their portfolio love the speed, simplicity, and expertise our program is giving them," Russo said.
Russo Modular expressed their excitement about partnering with Whataburger. The restaurant chain will have full access to Russo Modular's advanced QSR modular program, which offers thoroughly tested systems, streamlined designs, improved processes, and efficient operations. Whataburger, celebrating its 70th year in business, recently reached a milestone with the opening of its 1,000th restaurant.
"We are looking forward to helping fuel the next stages of growth and unlocking the power of modular expansion for this outstanding brand," Josh Sorge, account/sales manager at Russo Modular, said in the press release.
