Infographic: What's Domino's doing so right in India?

When you enter a market as diverse, populated and even chaotic as India, it pays to do your research. At least that's what a relatively new player in that country's coupon industry found out. 

Coupon Hippo Social Media Outreach and Content Coordinator Sanaina Patel said when her firm started doing business in India they immediately noticed that Domino's pizza was going great guns in the country, with a huge percentage of the QSR pizza market and quick-service market as a whole in India. The company wanted to know why.

"Since we are pretty new, we are doing a lot of research on the different markets in India and QSR is one of them," Patel said. "That is what led us down the rabbit hole of figuring out why Domino's has become so dominant here. It gives us a better understanding of the online and offline traffic and how we should go after it."

So, the end result of Coupon Hippo's research determined that Domino's had a humongous slice of the QSR pizza pie in India at roughly 70 percent of that business. The info is detailed in the infographic below.
