White Castle debuts Chicken Slider as permanent menu item

White Castle has placed the Crispy Chicken Slider on its permanent menu.
The slider is made with all-white meat chicken coated in a crispy buttermilk breading and drizzled with White Castle's new honeycomb mustard sauce. For 20 cents more, the slider can come dresses with American cheese, lettuce and tomato as well.
"This isn't just an update — it's an upgrade," Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle, said in the press release. "We've listened to our Cravers, and our culinary team has over delivered. They have crafted a chicken Slider that elevates our Crave quotient and will have customers clamoring for more. And all for a price that's a great value."
White Castle operates about 340 restaurants as well as a retail division.
