White Castle Slider candle available for Autism fundraiser

In support of the nation's largest autism research and advocacy organization, Autism Speaks, White Castle is now offering its limited-edition Original Slider-scented candle for $15 each, with 100-percent of net proceeds benefiting the organization.

Created by Laura Slatkin, the founder of Nest Fragrances, the limited-edition candle comes in a ceramic replica of the signature White Castle Slider box.

"White Castle is pleased to partner with the Craver Nation on such an important philanthropic effort," said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. "We are proud to continue the Castle Shares program in the community by working with the Autism Speaks organization to help the millions of families impacted by autism."

Since 2010, more than 10,000 Original Slider-scented candles have been sold, raising more than $150,000. The Castle Shares program that supports these efforts donated more than $600,000 as part of its annual Puzzle Piece Campaign during Autism Awareness Month in April.

The Original Slider-scented candle is available for purchase at houseofcrave.com and at White Castle restaurant locations across the country.
