White Castle Valentine's Day reservations open with 1st delivered 'Love Castle'

Pucker up gents. Slip into your slipperiest lip gloss, ladies. It's time to slip into a few sliders for Valentine's Day next month. With more than 30,000 expected for dinner at White Castle on Feb. 14, the brand has opened itself for reservations for the big day and the 28th annual Valentine's Day dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. that Thursday. 

This is the second year the 'Castle' has opened itself for reservations on the day of slider and mate love, through OpenTable.com, the OpenTable mobile app, or by calling the nearest regional office. These are hot seats though, so the brand said those pining for a chance to slide into their lover's hearts better reserve early. 

"Valentine's Day has become a longstanding tradition that is very special to many of our customers and team members across the country," White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson, said in the release. "Many Cravers have shared stories with us about meeting the loves of their lives, or forming lifelong friendships at our restaurants, so we look forward to hosting this special event every year to help our fans build even more memorable moments."

The big (Valentine's) day comes with host-assisted seating, tableside service, decorations and a complete slider and sides lineup. Also for the first time this year, lovers of the brand and each other can enjoy the day of love with sliders beside her, right at home, if they choose. In early February, the brand will tell customers how they can have a home-based Valentine's Day experience, complete with a "Love Castle" Crave Case, delivered right to them. 

Likewise, at a limited number of White Castles this year, the big day will actually be held on two big days, Feb. 14 and 15. Due to the event's popularity, the Valentine's Day dinner will be celebrated on both February 14 and February 15 at a limited number of Castles.
