White Castle's $25K party package to benefit autism research

October 17, 2012

For the first time, White Castle is set to cater holiday parties with its new Crave Pallet that features 6,912 Sliders. Two Crave Pallets are available for $25,000 each, with 100 percent of net proceeds benefiting autism research.

The two meals will be cooked by White Castle's chefs onsite and will be able feed more than 1,000 guests. Original, cheese and jalapeno Sliders will be served, and the package will also include 216 White Castle "steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions" fragrance candles.

"We believe it's important to fund autism research because it touches so many children and families," said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. "Our team members raised more than a half million dollars this year through the Autism Speaks Puzzle Piece campaign. By offering two Crave Pallets, we hope to make another generous contribution to research for the causes, treatments and prevention of autism."

The Crave Pallet evolved from menu items feeding more than one person. White Castle offers the Sack of 10, the Crave Case with 30 Sliders and the Crave Crate with 100 Sliders. The natural progression was to offer Cravers an option that could feed an army, Richardson said.

White Castle Crave Pallets can be ordered by calling the Ambassador Goodwill Hotline at 614-559-2687 during normal business hours.
