Wienerschnitzel giving free meals to vets

Wienerschnitzel is honoring veterans and active duty military this Veterans Day, Nov. 11 with a free chili dog, small fries and a 20-ounce drink, according to a news release.  

"As an iconic American brand dedicated to our mission of 'serving food to serve others,' all of us here at Wienerschnitzel are proud to offer those who selflessly protect our great country a small token of our appreciation," the brand's Chief Marketing Officer Doug Koegeboehn, said in a news release. "We are hoping to say thank you to as many hard-working service men and women as possible on Veterans Day."

To get the free meal, veterans can visit any location on  Nov. 11 and present a valid military ID or come dressed in a military uniform.
