Wienerschnitzel revamps website as part of push toward younger consumer base

Wienerschnitzel's revamped website went live this week, featuring design elements aimed at attracting a younger consumer base.  According to a news release, the website has an emphasis on food and community, as well as social platforms and activities.

A hashtag-powered message board links to Wienerschnitzel's trending posts and encourages users to engage with the brand for the chance to win merchandise and appear in a live stream.

The website overhaul was activated by the recently-established Visionary Department

"Our new website reflects our commitment to connecting with our fans and creating a sense of community," Chief Visionary Officer J.R. Galardi said in the release.  "We wanted to build an easy-to-use platform that provides visitors with quick access to our latest and greatest news while serving as a resource for all things Wienerschnitzel."

Additional features of the website include:

  • Current offers
  • Product pages complete with nutritional information
  • Press highlights
  • A blog
  • Locations of the nearest restaurants using the site's street-view, Google API Maps
  • An events page to highlight the brand's new strategic partnerships

Also, the website provides franchise information for those interested in joining the brand as it expands nationwide

The website was created with the help of California-based digital production agency, Ripcord Digital.
