Wireless Ronin reports huge revenue increase

August 12, 2010

Wireless Ronin Technologies Inc. has announced a 99 percent second quarter increase from 2Q 2009. The report was announced Thursday for the period ending June 30.

Additionally, Ronin experienced a 78 percent increase from the first quarter of 2010. Gross margin hit an all-time high of 48 percent, compared to 39 percent from the previous quarter and 23 percent from 2Q 2009.

Wireless Ronin's gross margin dollars have expanded more than four-fold year-over-year. The company continues to implement its cost optimization plan with a projected annualized cost savings exceeding $2.5 million.

The increase in revenue was primarily the result of the company's marquee partnerships, including Yum! Brands, Chrysler, Thomson Reuters and ARAMARK.

During the second quarter, Ronin installed digital menu boards in an additional 24 KFC stores, including all of Jacksonville, Fla.
