Yogurtini Self-Serve has opened its third Missouri location in about six months after announcing its new franchising program.
The new unit, located in Lee’s Summit, Mo., will offer free frozen yogurt Saturday from 4-8 p.m. to celebrate the opening. It is owned by franchisee David Kinworthy.
"The Yogurtini franchise is a fun, exciting and rewarding opportunity for me and my entire family," Kinworthy said. "Lee's Summit is where I know our customers would love the Yogurtini product and experience, and we are excited to be able to open and celebrate with free yogurt.”
Yogurtini, established in 2008 in Arizona, debuted in the Midwest in 2010 with two locations in Kansas City, Mo.
The company’s “serve-yo-self” concept allows customers to make their own frozen yogurt creation in the mold of a martini. It offers a rotating selection of 16 flavors and more than 70 toppings daily.
Yogurtini launched its seasonal flavors last month, including Eggnoggin, Grandma's Apple Pie, Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough and Peppermint Stick.
One of Yogurtini’s signatures is its Flavortini's, recipes such as the "Extra Dirty" created by mixing an array of frozen yogurts and toppings.
YHI Inc. is the franchise development company for Yogurtini. Additional Yogurtini franchises are currently in development in Florida, Colorado, Arizona and Missouri.
