Yum! Brands recognizes supplier for KFC Go Cup package

Berry Plastics Group Inc. announced that it has been recognized by Yum! Brands for three separate Supplier Tracking Assessment and Recognition (STAR) awards.

According to a news release, all three STAR awards were related to the KFC Go Cup package, launched in July 2013, which Berry Plastics collaboratively designed and developed The three awards include:

• STAR Supplier – Packaging
• STAR Supplier – Innovation
• STAR Supplier of the Year

"At Berry Plastics we are committed to partnering with our customers to gain in-depth insight of their brand and their consumers' characteristics. We then apply this knowledge to our design process so that we can consistently be a solutions provider to our customers," Bill Norman, president of Berry Plastics' Rigid Open Top Division, said in the release.
