Yum! chief exec among Harvard Business Review's top CEOs in world
December 21, 2009
David C. Novak, chairman, president and CEO of Yum! Brands Inc., has made the list of the Best Performing CEOs in the World, according to the Harvard Business Review. Novak was ranked No. 78 and was the only restaurant brand exec to make the top 100. Yum!, parent company of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC, Long John Silver's and A&W Restaurants, has experienced a market cap change of $14 billion under Novak, who took over the chief executive chair in 2000. The ranking considers "which CEOs of large public companies performed best over their entire time in office."
