Yum domestic comps flat for Q2

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Yum! Brands second-quarter same-store sales at domestic stores were flat while overseas stores saw a major increase.
 
U.S. blended same-store sales were even while the international division reported an 8-percent increase. In China, blended same-store sales skyrocketed 29 percent.
 
Yum reported Taco Bell same-store sales increased 5 percent while KFC increased 2 percent for the quarter. Pizza Hut comps slid 9 percent, marking the fifth such decline for 2006.
