Taco Bell's mobile app, officially introduced in late October, has reached 1.4 million downloads in iOS and Android stores.
To celebrate, the company is offering free Doritos Locos Tacos with any purchase made through its mobile ordering and payment app in the month of January. The #Onlyintheapp offer provides fans one free DLT for every mobile purchase order – up to 1 million or while supplies last.
According to a news release, the offer will be featured in a new TV spot highlighting the mobile ordering and payment app’s “Millions of Combinations” airing Jan. 1 on ESPN during the College Football Playoff.
The DLT giveaway adds to the list of #Onlyintheapp offerings including $1 Freezes and early access to products such as the $1 Crunchwrap Sliders.
